Is it possible to fortify Canadian Healthcare and improve nursing enrollment and retention?

The answer is yes if Canadians work together.

What? You doubt you have the power to effect change? Then you don’t understand how powerful you are.

Talk to your best friend, your family, your neighbours, your pastor, teachers, high school students, elected officials, taxi drivers, everyone, and anyone about nursing. Raise their awareness that Canadian healthcare needs their help in getting this information to people interested in becoming nurses.

Educate yourself on the many career paths nurses can pursue. You’ll be surprised.

Why should you care about strengthening the healthcare system? You might not be ill at the moment, but your loved ones are aging. They may require medical care in the future. Do it for them if not for yourself.

Nursing is a great profession.

Learn all you can about it and initiate a conversation in your circle of influence.

It starts with deciding to participate. Let’s create momentum and have discussions that go viral across the country.
